IDC Overview

The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is comprised of two parts - the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Most dive professionals complete the entire IDC and go on to attend an Instructor Examination (IE), which is the final step to earn a PADI Instructor certification.

Our IDC is inclusive of the require Emergency First Response Instructor Course and you can add on the highly recommended MSDT Prep course with Our Course Director immediatly after your program. This allows you to teach an additional FIVE PADI Specialty dvier courses.

A complete schedule will be provided before the start of the IDC which will outline the entire course. This will be reviewed on the first day of the IDC.We will be conducting the all-new IDC which includes more practical training and fewer classroom lectures so that you are exposed to more hands-on, real-world-instructor training than ever before.
