You did it! Now, let's answer those important FAQs...
Thank you for completing the waiver before your trip. This will make the check-in process on your dive day waaaaaaaay easier. In the meantime, we have answers to the frequently asked questions that you may be wondering about too.
Do I need a physician's release to dive?
You might be surprised! We’ve noticed that nearly 1 in 4 divers need a physician’s release to dive. In short, if you answered yes to questions 3, 5 or 10 or checked any of the boxes in the section A, B, C, D, E, F, G on your waiver, you’ll need to take this medical form to your doctor for a signature. We know the medical form can be tricky to navigate even with a brand new compass, so we’ll be your buddy and send you an email to let you know for sure.
Do I need to come early to try on gear?
Nope! You can forget about the fitting room drama! Just show up at the boat, and we’ll have your gear ready faster than you can say “wetsuit.” That said, if you have special requirements like a prescription mask or need super large sized fins, please contact us ahead of time so we can help you find those items before your trip with us.
Is there food on board?
We love snacks as much as you do, so you’ll find juices, sodas, waters, and other goodies like trail mix, granola bars, and even Rice Krispie treats on board. Got a particular craving? You’re welcome to bring your own snack too.
My confirmation says 6:15 a.m., so what time should I be there?
We’d love to see you bright and early at 6:15 a.m. for your dive. If you’re joining us for a Whale Watch, night dive, or other fun-tastic adventure, please come at the time listed on your confirmation.
What payment methods can I use to buy merch on the boat?
Remember to pick up your swag at the end of your trip! We know you’re going to want to get a shirt to commemorate your great day on the Maui Diamond. We happily accept credit cards for your purchases at the boat.
